Why Partner With Us
We offer customized solutions and leverage to help meet your DVBE and SDVOSB requirements.
What is an SDVOSB?
In short, partnering with an SDVOSB:
- Grants you access to the federal marketplace
- Fast tracks the contracting process
- Drastically increases your chances of winning contracts
- Reduces competition
SDVOSB’s are part of a federal set-side category for government agencies/contracts. This is due to the Executive Order 13360 that was issued by President Bush in October of 2004. The executive order was issued to strengthen/increase opportunities in federal contracting and subcontracting for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. This was followed by Public Law 106-50 which states that federal agencies must award 3% of their contracts to SDVOSBs.

Versatile Consulting LTD is certified by the State of California as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE). These certifications run concurrent and count towards both DVBE and SMALL BUSINESS participation requirements.
DVBE certification entitles the certified business to participate in the State’s DVBE Participation Program, which establishes a goal of at least 3% of total overall annual State contracting dollars to be awarded to DVBE’s. Comparatively, SBs participation goal is set at 25%. SB certification also entitles the certified business to a five percent (5%) bid preference on applicable State contracts and procurements.
